KATS Network Assistive Technology Resource Guide
One of the scariest things about assistive technology is figuring out how to pay for it. Our Assistive Technology Resource Guide is designed to help Kentuckians with disabilities, their family members and caregivers. You’ll find information about grants, loans, and assistance programs so you can afford the tech you need. It’s also a handy resource for state agency personnel and service providers.

Assistive Technology Locator
The Kentucky Assistive Technology Locator is a FREE service of the KATS Network. It connects Kentuckians to the AT devices they need to live independently. By registering for an account, you can borrow devices to try, find used devices for free or low-cost, sell used equipment, give away devices, place want ads for things you need.
Reutilization

Project CARAT enables underserved individuals with disabilities throughout Kentucky by collecting, refurbishing and redistributing assistive technology (AT) and durable medical equipment (DME).
Lending Library

Our network of lending library programs offers individuals the opportunity to borrow assistive technology equipment on a short-term basis. Requests for devices can be made by you, a family member, friend or advocate.
Demonstration

Our Demonstration Centers provide a place for people of all ages and abilities, their family members/ caregivers as well as educators, healthcare providers and other professionals to see, learn about, and try out the latest AT.
